Results show what happened — not why
Personalization is difficult to sustain and demonstrate
Schools generate evidence constantly through assessments, written work, teacher feedback, attendance and classroom observations. However, this information is often fragmented across subjects, teachers, systems and terms, making it difficult to form a continuous understanding of each learner.
The same incorrect answer can result from very different causes: a careless calculation, a missing prerequisite or a deeper misconception. Traditional records capture the outcome, but rarely reveal the thinking behind it or the support a student needs next.
Teachers must manually gather evidence, remember patterns and coordinate support across teams. This increases cognitive load and makes personalised support difficult to maintain — and even harder for schools to communicate clearly to students and families.
